I was just reminiscing the last few weeks in Australia, and tears welled up in my eyes. Who'd have guessed I'll look back into the laughter and good times, and start crying. I miss one of the very few real friends I have there (which I've blown).

I happened to listen to this song recently, and I smiled listening to the lyrics. It reminded me of the song "Nobody's Fool" by Avril. That song lyric's the best. Not too similar, but not the typical "Oh I'm broken hearted" kinda song. Haha.

My abrupt change in behavior scares me all the time.

So finally, Kerus, Noor, Sabita, Suhaimi, his gf Yati and I met up. It was great catching up with old times after so long. Literally. A year not seeing each other felt forever. A lot of things didn't change (for a greater good I guess? :). We're still as crazy as we were. It was awesome, really. ((:



& today marks the first day of Raul's primary school education. He looks really cute in the uniform and humongous school bag he's carrying. Haha. I sent him to school and waited till the recess period and then all the way till he ended his class- which is at 6 pm.


Thank God I had Tamam to keep me company. My younger brother came by as well but he decided to leave when he got really bored out of his mind. & then, Faisal and Hafiz dropped by. They had a movie "date", and apparently, I took Tamam away from them. So yupp, we hanged out just for a bit and then I had to leave to send Raul back. It felt sooo good seeing them! "Good" is very much an understatement. Fantastic! (((:

Suddenly this hit me.
I actually miss missing someone.
I actually miss thinking of that one person before falling asleep.

It's been so long since I experienced this.

I mean, of course I miss people. Family and friends. But not someone significant? It's really weird. Like I said before, I'm embracing singlehood. But as much as I do, at times, I do feel lonely. It's a great feeling knowing I don't have to comply to the rules of a relationship, there's no one telling me what to do and what not, not having an obligation to contact someone every single part of the day, I don't have to put in extra effort to please that someone, no quarrels and sweet talking, and most definitely, "sticking to one" don't apply to me. I don't hurt anyone and nobody hurts me. I'm loving this freedom I have.

But then again, sometimes I hope to think about someone before I sleep at night. I used to enjoy doing that cause it makes me smile, even if it's only a crush. But right now, there's no one. Literally. I tried thinking of someone I might like, but no single soul came into my mind. The most I could think of is, a man with a nice physique and an empty face. Haha. All I do every night is, reflect on what happened that day and if anything significant happened, I'll think about it. It's becoming a routine to think about my future every night. Sickening, really. But yeah, that's all. I no longer get that stupid "butterly in the stomach" kinda feeling. Haha. I miss that, really.

I don't know what I want. When I'm in a relationship, I miss being single. Now that I'm single, I miss having someone. Not really. I miss missing someone and smiling to sleep, but I surely don't miss having an official boyfriend.

To those who're crazily in love, you may not agree with me. But personally, I feel love is cruel. First it makes you smile like a silly goose, and then, it angers you and finally, it really crushes your world. Either you or your partner's. Well, true. Love's not like that all the time (just 99% of the time- save that one percent for your soulmate.). But until you find the right one, how many times do you plan to get hurt or to hurt someone? Falling in love is a fantastic feeling. But if your partner just looks at you as a temporary thing, it makes you feel foolish that you let your guard down. Haha, I prefer just waiting, and while waiting, mingle! I don't see why I should resort to commiting. No point.
